Sony's latest iPod killer - the NW-A820 media player
Advice to Sony - if you're attempting people to ditch the iPod, come up with a more catchy name than the NW-A820 series.
Shame about the name, but the media player itself looks like a stylish piece of kit. Available with up to 16GB of storage, the player has a 2.4-inch screen, music and video playback (MP3, AAC, WMA and MPEG-4 video) plus a long battery life (up to 36 hours of music) and Bluetooth for playing it wirelessly through a Bluetooth-friendly speaker.
In fact, a matching speaker is coming arriving at the same time, along with a cradle to play video through your TV and to record TV to the player in real time. Expect to see it in April, no price available as yet.
