Samsung Pixon - mobile phone meets compact camera

Most mobile phones pack some sort of camera, but the Samsung Pixon offers one step up - offering a camera every bit as good as your compact.

Packing an 8 megapixel camera, it might actually be better than your existing pocket camera, especially when you add in 16x zoom, auto focus, face detection and video shooting.

Other features include a 3.2-inch touch screen, multi-format music player, FM radio, Bluetooth and 200MB of memory, which can be boosted further via Micro SD card. Expect it in the next few weeks, priced from free if you sign a contract.
