Ruf unveils the electric Porsche 911

The words 'Porsche' and 'eco-friendly' don't usually sit comfortably alongside each other, but that could all change with the electric Porsche 911.
It's a modification vehicle from German firm Ruf, ditching the loud and powerful combustion engine for an altogether more quiet lithium-ion-powered number, but one that can still offer up some speed - 0-60mph in under 7 seconds. It can get you up to 200 miles per charge too, which should cover most journeys.
Aside from that and the added weight, not a lot is different to a standard 911. Except you can buy a standard one now - this is still in the land of concept, but as a working one, not a million miles away from retail.
