Jonathan Adler Havana three-light pendant

Slightly retro, but also very modern, this Jonathan Adler Havana three-light pendant will certainly catch your guest's eye.

It's one of a range of similarly-themed lights that's also includes a floor and table light, but this pendant is the real star of the show. Three lights, standing around 13 inches high and 31.5 inches wide and made of a mix of polished nickel and laser-cut white metal for the shades.

US-only for now (as far as we can see), selling for $450.

Ikea Vano rattan easy chair

The rattan chair is alive and well and available for your garden or conservatory right now - going by the name of the Ikea Vano easy chair.

It's a big and bold seat, designed by Wiebke Braasch and available in a red or green (above). It's also weather-resistant, mixing a steel frame and polypropylene plastic for that substantial shape.

Fenice 8 Suspension light from Artemide

If you are looking for straight forward functional lighting then the Fenice light from Artemide is probably not for you, but doesn't it look great!  The lights are described as 'cable suspended luminaires' and they provide direct and diffused halogen lighting.  Made in Italy, the handblown glass diffusers are available in a choice of seven colours and, as shown in the image, look fantastic hanging in a group.

As you probably suspect from the description, the Fenice costs slightly more than a pendant light from Ikea - £207 to be precise. If you are tempted, you can find out more at Panik Design.
