Cool-er e-book reader hits the UK

With no sign of the Amazon Kindle on these shores, we're forced to look for other e-book alternatives - and they don't come much more stylish than the Cool-er e-book reader.

Available to pre-order now at Firebox, this is a super-slim, colourful reader that can hold up to 800 novels in its 1GB storage. More if you take advantage of the SD card slot. On top of that, there's a 6-inch screen, an iPod-like scroll wheel for page turning, a battery that's good for 8,000 page turns per charge and the option to use it for viewing your photos and listening to your tunes.
