HP launches DJ-friendly Envy 15 Beats edition notebook
Not likely to appeal to your hardened DJs, but if you don't see a problem with taking a computer instead of a bag of vinyl to a club or bar, you might be interested in the HP Envy 15 Beats edition notebook.
If the logo looks familiar, that's because it's from the same people that brought you the Beats by Dr Dre headphones and the smaller Dr Dre earphones. Indeed, you get a pair of headphones as part of the notebook deal, as well as having the sound tuned by Beats and to finish things off, Traktor LE software for live DJing.
Also inside that glossy black finish is an Intel Core i7 chipset, up to 16GB RAM and Mobility Radeon HD 4830 graphics, along with plenty of storage, all the connectivity you'll need and Windows 7 operating system. Just launched in the US and sure to hit the UK soon, it sells for $2,299, which is around £1,500.
