'Design-conscious' Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230 phones unveiled

Slide1

Two handsets for the 'design-conscious consumer' have just been unveiled by Nokai - the Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230.

Both are 3G slider phones available in a variety of colours (if that's important to you), with both offering quick access to popular social networking communities. You can take that as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and their ilk.

The Nokia 6700 slide (shown above) is offered in six bold colours, complete with a compact footprint, aluminum finish, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, photo editing and web uploading (to your social network of choice). You can pick one up contract-free in early 2010 for 160 Euros.

The Nokia 7230 comes in slightly cheaper at 100 Euros, but still offers up a bold and colourful design, a 3.2 megapixel camera, large 2.4-inch display and fast 3G connectivity. There's also quick access to email, instant messaging and social networks on the go, with 'subtle illumination' indicating if you have missed calls or messages from your friends. That's also due early 2010.
