Sony Ericsson launches the eco-friendly Aspen smartphone
It's being described as a 'business partner with a conscience', but you'll get to know it better as the Sony Ericsson Aspen smartphone
Mixing a touchscreen with a full QWERTY keyboard, the handset uses the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system as well as a selection of panels that change during the day, offering quick access to the most commonly-used features, so net borwsing or emailing is just a flick of the finger away.
Other features of note include the Microsoft MyPhone service, which remotely erases phone data when the handset is lost or stolen, a-GPS navigation, a 3.2-megapixel camera, fully-featured media player, social networking essentials (Facebook, Messenger, Twitter etc), eco essentials like power saving mode, recyled materials and an e-manual, along with a stylish ergonomic design - it fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.
Look out for it in Iconic Black and White Silver in the middle of 2010, price no doubt depending on your contract.
