Rotaliana Luxy H1 Ceiling Light by Donegani & Lauda
It looks like a retro or vintage design, but this Rotaliana Luxy H1 Ceiling Light by Donegani & Lauda is actually a fairly recent piece.
It was designed in 2002, an update on the pivoted lamp, perhaps more often seen on desk or office lamps. This one has a pressed and painted glass diffuser and injection-moulded forks, plus an on/off switch on the diffuser.
But the movement is the selling point here, with a mechanism that uses twisted springs, so you can angle it just where you want the light. You can grab one from £160 and if you like the idea, but don't want it for our ceiling, you can grab a similar design in floor and table versions too.
