Aimed partly at people without outdoor space and people who just like quirky design are these Score + Solder terrariums and planters.

It's your own mini greenhouse, with both the terrariums and planters made of lead-free glass and available in a variety of shapes, some freestanding and some to hand from the ceiling. Either way, it's a great piece of interior design, as well as something of a mini hobby.

All are made to order and come with the rocks, sand and quartz crystal. Beyond that is up to you. Prices vary, but start from around $110.
