Not just any old suitcases, these Modesty Blaise suitcases by Form 2U AB feature a cult cartoon character to impress your fellow travellers.
Of course, we're talking cult 1960s comic strip Modesty Blaise, the work of Peter O'Donnell (although I believe Jim Holdaway did the artwork, so I'm guessing this is more down to him). For your outlay, you get a small and large case, both with those bold designs on the front and back, as well as a Modesty Blaise lining - you can check that out over the page.
Available to buy online, the set sells for 268.90 Euros.
The London Design Guide is a new book by design commentator Max Fraser. It gives you the lowdown on where to go in the big city to find the best design shops, galleries, museums and bookshops.
The emphasis is on contemporary and vintage design and the book explores London area-by-area, with detailed walks making sure you don't miss a thing. Retaurants and hotels are included too, so it would be really helpful if you are holidaying in the city too.
This ingenious Solar backpack is the easy solution to keeping your mobile charged when you are miles from the nearest socket.
The sun's energy is stored in the solar panel on the front which transfers it into an electrical charge which is stored in a power pack hidden inside the pack. Then simply connect it to your ipod, mobile or camera and you can keep charged throughout your travels.
The pack also carries stuff of course and even has a rain cover to keep the whole pack dry. I am not sure how much solar charge you will be able to get out and about in the British weather, but fingers crossed the sun will shine at some stage!
The pack is currently reduced from £39.99 to £19.99 and is available to buy from Gadget Shop.
When it comes to a interesting bag, Ikea isn't the first place that comes to mind - buyt that might change if it brings out more designs like the Upptacka weekend bag and laptop bag.
The laptop bag (above) offers both general storage for your essentials and a padded compartment for your notebook, throwing in a zip fastener to keep things safe, a snap hook for keys on the inside and that distinctive circular design and cord handle. The weekend bag (pictured over the page) offers much the same, but obviously with more space for more of your stuff.
Pink and black are the colour options, prices are £24.99 and £29.99 respectively.
The London Transport Museum has some great posters in its online shop, I particularly like the Paul Catherall set relating to the seasons, Summer is shown above.
Paul Catherall is a printmaker and illustrator based in London who has a reputation for creating clean graphic images with great composition. He was commissioned by Transport for London to create a series of posters showing different London views.
