Lobster Chair - the Egg Chair gets an update

Lobsterchair

Ok, this isn't an official update on the Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair, but the Lobster Chair certainly has its roots with that late 50s classic.

Lobster is probably down to its claw-like shape, but for me, the design isn't the most eye-catching aspect - that's the bent wood construction and its walnut veneer, matched with a quality leather, Pantera foam for comfort and the chrome-plated steel base. Other finishes are available, but none are quite as classy.

We know it is designed by Lund & Paarmann for Verikon Furniture, but as yet, we don't have a fixed price. More when we know it.
