AlessiPhone by Stefano Giovannoni

Alessiphone

The home phone has had a makeover, courtesy of the AlessiPhone by Stefano Giovannoni.

Heading for the UK in May, the AlessiPhone offers up a sleek, minimalist design made from polished polycarbonate, with plenty of cutting edge features within, including a high quality 65,000-colour OLED display, polyphonic ring tones courtesy of Japanese DJ Gak So, a contact book with room for 200 names and numbers, a blue backlit touchpad, clock and alarm functions and some cool background imagery courtesy of the designer himself.

No news of a price as yet, but we suspect that this isn't going to come cheap. Check out the phone in its cradle over the turn.
