Grand Designs Live at the NEC

Although huge shows can be an exhausting prospect Grand Designs Live, which is on in Birmingham from 9th-11th October, has some highlights that could make the effort worthwhile.

The focus is on design, build, interiors and innovation rather than purely shopping. Show highlights include 'The House of the Future' from Samsung giving visitors a peek at what technology will be de rigeur in your home in ten or twenty years time. The Grand Village shows the latest in eco-friendly houses, and there are also seminars everyday from TV design folk such as George Clark, Diarmuid Gavin and of course Kevin McCloud.
