Sony Ericsson launches the Xperia X10 Android mobile phone
Likely to be one of the hottest new phones of the new year, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has today been officially launched by Sony Ericsson.
Complete with 8-megapixel camera (including LED flash) and a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, this is Sony Ericsson's first Google-friendly phone - that screen working with the 'Rachael' interface for fast access to all your communications (Facebook, Twitter, email, photos, calls, text etc), sorted into individual people if you like. It also has easy access to media like music, photos, video and of course, YouTube.
Of course, being an Android phone, it offers superb email and internet access, as well as the option to download a limitless number of apps (including Spotify Mobile), not to mention GPS navigation, 3D gaming and well...pretty much everything you need, packed into a slimline black or white package. The Xperia X10 is expected in late February, so if you have a contract ending around then, you might want to consider it before you jump on the iPhone bandwagon.
