Pentax goes Dieter Rams with the Optio H90 digital camera

On our Retro To Go site yesterday, we featured the distinctly retro Pentax Optio I-10. In the comments related to that camera, another new launch was pointed out - the Pentax Optio H90 digital camera.

It's not quite as retro as the I-10, but it does look like it could have come straight out of the Dieter Rams design catalogue - the kind of stylish but functional design the great man was known for.

In terms of specifics, the H90 has a 12.1-megapixel sensor, 5x wide angle optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD, 720p HD video recording, face detection, smile capture, blink detection, shake reduction and plenty of auto settings.

It should be available from next month, priced just short of the £150 mark.
