Nokia launches the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 social networking phones
Not one, but three different social network phones unveiled by Nokia today - the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5.
All feature QWERTY keyboards for easy typing, quick access to a variety of email accounts, as well as easy access to messaging and social networks. According to Nokia: 'People want the best messaging and social networking experience on an affordable device, whether it's sending a simple text or instant message, an email, or a direct message from their Twitter account. The Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 are made for just that.'
All offer up status updates from the networks direct to your home screen, with the budget C3 being a Series 40 handset with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat pre-installed and offering up Wi-Fi, a 2-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch screen and support for up to an 8GB memory card. White, grey and pink are the colours, selling for 90 Euros from June.
The Nokia C6 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, slide-out keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and Ovi Maps. That's available before June for 220 Euros. The business-friendly E5 throw in Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler support, selling for 180 Euros later in the year.
