Sony Ericsson launches the Walkman-inspired Zylo and Spiro mobile phones
Inspired by the Walkman, but very much the modern-day mobile phone - the Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro.
The Zylo's music capabilities including the option to play audiophile-friendly FLAC files, the ability to play tracks in the background during calls and pre-loaded tracks that simulate your environment. Weird. There's also Facebook, Twitter and YouTube apps, a 3.2-megapixel camera and the option to slap in a microSD card for storage.
The more budget-friendly Spiro still spins your digital tunes, throwing in track ID and access to a music store, as well as doing the Facebook and Twitter thing. There's also a 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, an FM radio and also takes a microSD card.
Both phones landing in autumn in a variety of colours, pricing to be confirmed when they're ready for the shelves.
