Google Nexus 4 mobile phone
If you haven't been seduced by the iPhone 5, perhaps Google can tempt you in with its latest mobile offering, the Google Nexus 4.
It's a fairly sizeable slab, one that's able to fit in a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display, complete with Gorilla Glass 2 for protection. Rather natty back panel design too.
No slouch inside either, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera plus 1.3-megapixel front camera for networking. This is also the phone that Google is using to show its latest version of Android, aka Android 4.2.
You get a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage, with a price of £239 (8GB) or £279 (16GB) for a SIM-free phone. Contract deals too, but they'll not be around until some time after the 13 November date for those SIM-free models.
