Presumably Cooper is the name because the Cooper table lamp at Made is based on a car headlight.

There's also some industrial style there, as well as a powder coated finish for the metal frame, a mechanism for angling the light and no matter which angle you choose, the headlamp diffuses the light, so no glare.
