Pure Evoke D4 and Evoke D4 with Bluetooth radios unveiled

EvokeWith its retro-modern look, the Pure Evoke has long been a popular design. We suspect that will continue with the Pure Evoke D4 and Evoke D4 with Bluetooth radios.

The fourth generation of the radio has just been announced, with the Pure Evoke D4 offering portable DAB digital and FM radio in a walnut or oak veneer for around £130. The Pure Evoke D4 with Bluetooth will be sold in real wood domino black or glacier white matt for £150, with the added bonus of wireless streaming.

Both promise improved audio, remote control and a touch sensitive 'Snoozehandle' alongside the alarm if you need an extra 10 minutes in bed. There's also an audio jack for headphones, an optional rechargeable battery pack for 50 hours of listening, 30 presets with quick access buttons and a kitchen timer. Good looks of course, which always helps to sell a radio.

Both will be available from December, with John Lewis likely to be the key retailer.
