Mr Jones 'On Foot' Watch

Joneswatch

We brought you Mr Jones' 'Average Day' watch earlier in the year. and this 'On Foot' watch is designed on a similarly unique concept.

The watch face displays the world record times for running different distances, with the different arcs relating to records under 60 seconds, under one hour and over one hour.

Whether the watch is updated every time Usain Bolt sets a new record is not detailed, but at least you can time yourself against the world's fastest runners and wonder at their super-human achievements.

The watch is part of a limited edition and can be yours for £125 from Magma Books.

Opening Ceremony All Occasion tote bag

Opening

Hip New York label Opening Ceremony has an everyday bag with a nod to the past in its new range - the Opening Ceremony All Occasion tote bag.

Yes, that's a tartan finish, just like the shopping trolleys so beloved of old women - except this bag is aimed at trendy young things, with embroidered details of the company on the front, along with two carry handles and a smaller pocket on the front.

Want one? Yours for £25.

Scottish Pride T-shirt by Gillian Kyle

Gillian_Kyle_011_small

There is nothing wrong with a little national pride, as demonstrated in this lovely t-shirt design by Scottish designer Gillian Kyle.

The shirt is hand screen printed with the design which depicts 'a bevy of Scottish delights to tempt the sophisticated palate'.  Gillian Kyle has a range of designs which are all related to her Scottish roots and feature on bags and aprons as well as t-shirts.

The tee shown here is available in two colours and four sizes and is priced at £22.50. The whole range would make great presents for proud Scots around the world.

See the range and buy online at Gillian Kyle.

Yellow Bird Project

Yellow bird

The Yellow Bird Project is a nonprofit t-shirt company based in Montreal. In a nutshell they get musicians and bands to design t-shirts which Yellow Bird sell, and the profits then go to a variety of charities...good idea huh?

The t-shirt shown above is the project's official t-shirt, but the rest of the collection have been designed by musicians such at The Magic Numbers, King Creosote & Bon Iver, and helped a good number of worthy causes in the process.

The shirt shown here costs $30 from the Yellow Bird Project, which seems a fair price for looking good and helping out others at the same time.
