Dya-Think-E-Saurus Wallpaper by Paperboy

Worth a mention for the name alone, this new wallpaper is from Paperboy and was designed with paleontologists in mind.

The design is available in three colourways and would be great for older boys, and no doubt some girls too.  The paper is hand-printed in Norfolk so comes with a higher price tag than your average paper, but how great would it be to be able to fall asleep dreaming of dinosaurs?

100% Design

100% Design is one of the key architectural design events of the year and is on at Earls Court from 24th to 27th September.

The exhibition showcases everything for the modern interior with sections within the exhibition focussing on different elements such as cutting-edge materials and emerging talent. Exhibitors include British Design stalwarts such as Tom Dixon and Matthew Hilton, plus new companies on the block such as Cornish manufacturer MARK.

For sale: Paterson House, East Lothian Coast, Scotland

A very modern house that takes a little nod to the past - Paterson House on the East Lothian Coast, Scotland.

Designed in 2005 by Paterson Architects, it was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of traditional rural dwellings, built to take advantage of the views towards the sea on the East Lothian Coast. The house is a timber frame structure, clad in Western red cedar, sitting atop a concrete base cut into the site and offering three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, study, utility room and rooflights to take advanrtage of both the sun and those views.

Architecture Playing Cards

Perfect for a more high-brow game of Snap or Go-Fish! These Architecture playing cards feature the top architects and buildings of the 20th Century.

Rather than hearts and aces, the set is structured into suits titled Pre-Modernism, Modernism, Post-Modernism and De-Structuralism. So some card games could get slightly long-winded as 'Ace of De-Structuralism' doesn't exactly roll off the tongue as easily as 'Ace of Hearts'.

The set is however perfect for any budding young Richard Rogers and costs £9.50 from the Design Museum.
