Apple launches the thinner and lighter iPad 2, available from March 11th

The worst-kept secret in technology is out - Apple has officially launched the iPad 2.

At first glance, aside from the new white colour option, not a lot has changed. But the devil is in the detail. It's a third thinner for a start, as well as being 15 per cent lighter. Not only that, it has a new 1GHz dual-core A5 chip, which means it's twice as fast as the original, with graphics said to be 9x better than the original.

Stealth Arcade Tables update a 1980s classic

Out of Australia comes this Germany design using Japanese componentry. But there's only one place that this Stealth Arcade Table has come from really - the 1980s.

Proporta iPhone 4 cases by Ben Allen

Brighton-based art hipster Ben Allen has turned his hand to technology, specifically with a couple of Proporta iPhone 4 cases.

If you want to impress your art-loving mates, you can choose from two designs, the Skull above, as well as another going by the name of Zebra (you can guess what that looks like, if you can't it's picture over the page).

Both are tough hard shell cases with protection against impact damage, scratches and scrapes and both sell for £24.95.
