Google oversize knit scarf by Ohne Titel

Google_scarf

Not content with dominating technology, Google has now gone all high fashion, specifically with the Google oversize knit scarf by Ohne Titel.

Design for the CFDA/Vogue Google challenge and now available to buy at Google, the scarf is the work of Ohne Titel, aka Flora Gill and Alexa Adams. It's an oversized, multi-yarn, intarsia hand-knit scarf with 'silk bias' trim with wool and nylon yarn. Oh yes, it's also inspired by Google's signature colours, but we suspect you've already guessed that.

Purchase of the scarf supports the designers and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, but you'll have to feel very charitable to buy one - it sells for $300.

All Year Rings

Paperrings

Paper rings might not seem like the most durable of jewellery, but this set of All Year Rings at Charles and Marie, give you a different ring for each month so, for a year at least, you will always have a new one to put on at the end of every month.

The designs are based on flowers associated with each month and the paper is laser cut to all you need to do is detach them from the card and construct them which can't be that complex I would hope.

The set costs 60 Euros and is available to buy from Charles and Marie, just make sure you take them off before you do the washing up!

Ring Tree by French Westcott

Ringtree

Great gift alert! Apparently ring trees were originally produced in the 19th Century by companies such as Tiffany and Wedgewood, but this new version from French and Westcott is a very modern take on the idea.

This delicate tree is decorative enough without any adornment from rings and is made in a cast acrylic composite. It can accomodate up to 22 rings and is delivered in a sturdy box.

Priced at £68, you can buy the ring tree online at the Hidden Art Shop.

Opening Ceremony All Occasion tote bag

Opening

Hip New York label Opening Ceremony has an everyday bag with a nod to the past in its new range - the Opening Ceremony All Occasion tote bag.

Yes, that's a tartan finish, just like the shopping trolleys so beloved of old women - except this bag is aimed at trendy young things, with embroidered details of the company on the front, along with two carry handles and a smaller pocket on the front.

Want one? Yours for £25.

Yellow Bird Project

Yellow bird

The Yellow Bird Project is a nonprofit t-shirt company based in Montreal. In a nutshell they get musicians and bands to design t-shirts which Yellow Bird sell, and the profits then go to a variety of charities...good idea huh?

The t-shirt shown above is the project's official t-shirt, but the rest of the collection have been designed by musicians such at The Magic Numbers, King Creosote & Bon Iver, and helped a good number of worthy causes in the process.

The shirt shown here costs $30 from the Yellow Bird Project, which seems a fair price for looking good and helping out others at the same time.
